Communities in Coroma and Bajo Coen, in the Bribri area of Talamanca, benefited from the donation of school supplies and rubber boots for 150 children and adolescents in the area. Adults received training on snakes, bites, prevention, first aid, among others.

The activity was organized by workers at the Clodomiro Picado Institute (CPI) and a group of students of the University Community Service (TCU for its initials in Spanish) denominated Training and Prevention of Ophidic Accidents: A Public Health Problem.
