Environmental Award Given to 14 Units of the UCR

On Friday June 3rd, the World Environment Day and the Sustainable Transport Day at the University of Costa Rica (UCR), the Environmental Award was granted to 14 units of the Institution that fully complied with a particular process to improve the environment of their work setting.

On the first edition of the Environmental Award, the efforts of the Atlantic Headquarters were recognized, and it was granted the honorable mention for Biggest Trajectory in Implemented Environmental Management; the Clodomiro Picado Institute (CPI) was granted the honorable mention for Integration of Environmental Management in the Strategic Planning of its Unit; and the Occident Headquarters and Dairy Farming Module of the Atlantic Headquarters were granted the honorable mention for Reduction of Hydrological Resource Consumption.
